Education and Vocational Training
Technical capacity building initiatives for Ukrainian Veterans. Our organization works with multinational construction and industrial companies to identify crucial training topics, and then connects with institutes of higher education (IHEs) in the US, Poland, and Ukraine to deliver technical management training programs- such as those involving state-of-the-art construction IT software learning toolkits and AI-enabled equipment management upskilling- to Ukrainian Veterans, displaced citizens, and women coming out of the war effort in need of sustainable and transferable skill sets.
RUAI, through its REUNITE (REbuilding Ukraine’s National Independence Through Education) program- see addendum, aims to be the epicenter for engaging Ukrainian citizens, especially veterans, refugees and women, in data-driven education and management training programs for the construction and industrial sectors. These pupils can then go on to be employed by Ukrainian Ministries, US and international companies on the rebuilding Ukraine efforts while also being equipped to start their own construction management and industrial companies. In addition to management training, REUNITE will provide extensive teaching on digital tools and business principles to help develop a truly sustainable Ukrainian workforce that includes more women and veterans than ever before.
Our team has been hard at work building up our core REUNITE platform over the last 24 months, conferring with industry professionals such as CDM Engineering, Gertz Holdings, Jacobs Engineering, Trimble, AECOM, EEC, Tetra Tech and others that will require skilled workers. RUAI has a collaborative agreement with IHEs- such as University of Florida, Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture, Kharkiv National Automobile and Highway University, Lviv National Polytechnic University, Warsaw University of Technology; Ukrainian Government agencies- such as the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine; and Rebuilding Ukraine support groups- Confederation of Builders of Ukraine, Ukrainian Medical Association of North America, and Ukrainian Congress Committee of America.
Alongside our robust network of professional partners, RUAI will engage, educate and train the skilled workforce required in the planning, construction and industrial sectors for the reconstruction program of Ukraine.
